What Is The Use Of Injection Placentrex For PID?

hi,i am 27 years old unmarried female..i have developed lower abdominal pain,a gynaecologist diagnosed it as uti and prescribed anti biotics,along with that she suspected it can be a pid so prescribed inj placentrex for 7 days,to be taken on alternate days..why is that for ???
