How should FLUIMUCIL 600mg be taken?** What is the usual dosage per day? A friend has been prescribed fluimucil 600mg to be taken 3 times daily. The tablets came in a box written in Italian and all the instructions are in Italian - a language which neither of us knows!

Its usually Effervescent tab/Oral soln and dosage for Adult 600 mg daily (preferably in the evening) or 200 mg bid-tid. Its odd that he has been prescribed daily 1800mg which can cause toxicity and overdose. Please consult the doctor again before taking it. Dissolve the tab or content of sachet in a glass of water (75 mL) and drink it.
