What Is The White Growth On Tongue?

I m a 38 year-old woman, 6 3 and approximately 180 pounds. I have a white growth on the center of my tongue. It looks almost like cauliflower in shape. I ve had the spot there for weeks, and unknowingly kept messing with it, so I m not sure if that has made it worse. It s about the size of a pencil eraser in diameter. Should I be worried?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to warts.
The most common are small, hard sores.
They may be raised, flat, or shaped like a cauliflower, and they can be different sizes.
These warts often go away on their own and don't require treatment.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
