Hello,
You are having white, running watery discharge from the vagina since last two weeks. It has no odor and does not itch. Your symptoms may be indicative of leucorrhea. Take care of your hygiene. Take probiotics. Make some changes in your diet. Avoid
carbohydrate intake, take high protein diet. take food rich in iron, magnesium, vitamin A, C, B, zinc, etc. You can also take supplements.
If diabetic you should control your blood sugar regularly. If leucorrhea is abundant, it's recommended to use external pad. It's recommended to avoid frequent sexual contacts and repeated
masturbation. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an
OBGYN. Get tests and investigations done to prevent the extension of the infection towards the uterus and fallopian tubes. Your treating Gynae will ask for a biopsy of cervix to rule out
cervical cancer.
Get blood tests and urine tests done to detect infections. Vaginal and cervix pH study should be done to detect bacterial infections like
trichomoniasis or chlamydia. If reports are positive you will be treated with
metronidazole for trichomoniasis & with
azithromycin for chlamydia. Get STD tests done to stay on the safer side. If positive you will be treated with antivirals and antibiotics.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
