What Is The White String In My Stool?
white string in stool on occasion recently. Does resemble string, not mucos, etc. Abdominal bloating and discomfort, history of ulcerative colitis but stable now. Recent liver problems last 2 years, not certain of origin. Not sure if this might be parasite or excess fiber or starch, etc. ????

I really appreciate your concern from the history given here I could say that the string like substance that you have seen in your stool could be a thread worm and this need to be confirm and for that you need to get done the stool examination routine and microscopic examination this would rule out the possibility of worm infestation, take care and have nice day.
