I see a small amount of a white substance when I urinate. I am on Diflucan for a fungral skin infection on my inner thiegh. As I have been on the medicine I notice a vaginal discomfort getting better. I just thought this discomfort was that I was sensitive. This sensitivity is to the point that underwear is uncomfortable. I can and do have sex but must take an antibiotic right before sex or I usually end up with a UTI. Is this little bit of white in the urine normal? Do I have systemic yeast or Candida from many years of antibiotics. I was always sick as a child and throughout my whole life and have taken antibiotics at least 2 to 4 times a year.
Two to a four-time antibiotic course in one year cannot cause fungal urinary tract infection.
The white discharge in UTI warrants further investigation in the form of urine routine microscopic examination and culture.
According to culture report medication prescribed according to causative organism.
If the urine report comes negative then no need to worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
