My wife, age 30 years, 1.77m and 64kg, has been nauseus now for about a month. Together with the nauseusness, she also has stomach cramps and has been feeling light-headed to the point where she has fainted twice in the past month - most recently yesterday. She had a operation on her foot(heal) about 9 weeks ago due to an infection from a previous injury 3 years ago when she crushed her heal. After the operation, she was prescribed Anti-Biotics which she had to take for 6 weeks and at first we thought it was that that made her ill. After she finished the course of Anti-Biotics, she still felt the same. Blood tests done two weeks ago showed she had a Kalium shortage and that her blood pressure was low and she was prescribed pills and a diet with potatoes, etc..to help. Yesterday, she fainted at work and had to be rushed to hospital. They did more blood tests, but everything was fine and now we awaiting results from the stool sample she had to give. She is only allowed game (an isotonic drink) and dry bread. She has a diaphram in, so she can not be pregnant - or can she? The doctor mentioned something about Tropic Pregnancy ? Can you also tell me what that is? Thank you for all your help! Danie
