What Is Wrong In Legs For Swelling And Numbness After Mosquito Bite?

Hi my mom was apparently bit by mosquitoes in Greece she then threw some hot water on her legs for the itchiness and it seems that cause her leg to swell and numb, she was tested for many things, thrombosis and mosquito ailments but with no luck after medicines and creams and rice she complains she is still limping and has tingles numbness in the bottom of her foot a few drs looked into here in Canada and said possibly the tendons, she is doing hot water soaking as they told her to do this ,has been a few months now and it is slowly getting better it seems to me maybe something else is wrong maybe?

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
If it is culex mosquito, it may be the filarial swelling.for diagnosis you may need to have a mid night blood smear for micro filaria.
Or else it may be some other insect, which may require a particular antidote.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usuallyprescribe to my patient with such symptoms di ethyl carbamazine citrate , benzathine penicilline, and other supportive medicines.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
