What Is Wrong With The Wrist And Palm Having Intense Pain While Moving Or Griping Something?

two weeks ago i was assaulted and fell to the ground on to my left palm since then i have intense pain in my wrist and palm. It hurts when i try to spread my fingers and if i try to grip or lift anything. Also i have v ery limited motion in my wrist ( such as waving just my hand or rotating it) whats wrong?

please get an xray of the arm
the chances are that nothing is broken
but better be sure
you realize of course that the management changes completely if there s a fracture

i would also suggest some pain killers and antiinflammatory agents
try a crepe bandage
and keep your arm raised, if possible
