I am in aesthetics school and my instructors believe I have xanthomas and want me to see a dermatologist. I have one bump on my eyebrow that is yellow, but mostly they present as really yellow milia looking things on my forehead that are quite tiny. The photos I've seen online of xanthomas are yellow sheets on the eyes, not tiny yellow milia. I am 47 with no history of high cholesterol or anything. Does that sound like xanthoma to you?
