What Kind Of Treatment If Required For Complete Cure Of Skin Cancer On Upper Lip?

I have been diagnosed with a skin cancer on my upper lip area (under my nose) A surgeon cut some out but said he didn t get it all and he wants to schedule a time with a pathologist present. My concern is it s on my face and shall I inquire to have it done by a more specialized surgeon specializing more on the face? Someone who does this more often? A bigger Hospital perhaps?

Depend on the type of skin cancer , the treatment will differ. Removed by surgery as much as possible by experienced surgeon, may be Plastic surgeon/surgical oncologist, is mandatory. Depend on the type and extent of disease, other modalities such as radio therapy can be given. It is better to visit higher facilities hospital as early as possible.
