My husband believes he is bleeding from his Eustachian tube. He has the sensation of a string hanging at the back of his throat. His ear is blocked and he can t hear, gets frequent headaches, and has neck pain. This has been going on for at least two years. What can he do?
hello, thanks for your query, 1. no one can see the eusthacian tube( tube connects the middle ear and back of nose). 2. it will not bleed unless any growth at back of nose. 3. your head- ache and ear block could be due to et dysfunction secondary to fluid accumulation, sinusitis, allergy. kindly evaluate with ct paranasal sinus , audiometry tests followed by Ent consultation.hope I have answered your query. all the best. take care.
