What Leads To Weight Gain And Pain In Hip And Knee Joints?
my 8 year old son wieghts about 90lbs and has been gaining weigh then shoot up gaining wiegh shooting up for a while noe since about 2 years of age..latly he has been saying his knee hurts and now his hip hurts..says it feels like electic shooting in his bones in his hip. is this growing pains or should i be worried?

sorry to hear that,growing pains are common among toddlers but your son is 8 yrs old and is overweight.that may causes strain on joints and lead to pain.i would advice him to reduce weight.if inspite of weight reduction his pain continues get a orthopedic opinion.
