What Lens Should I Choose Before Undergoing Cataract Surgery?

i was taking XALATAN proactively for glucoma. I had congenital cataract which was not bothering me but after taking Xalatan for 6 months I got catract. now i need to undergo cataract surgery. I am debating between Multifocal and single focal lens. Any thoughts

It seems from the history that you are having cataract for which you are undergoing cataract surgery and you want to know about multifocal and single focal intraocular lenses and you want to know which one to choose.
Multifocal lenses are the recent advanced intraocular lenses but they have got some problems like glare and decreased vision at night. Hence they are not commonly preferred since you are also having pre existing glaucoma for which you are on treatment with xalatan eye drops, it is better to go with single focal lenses.
