My 5 yr old daughter is complaining about feeling wet after visiting the toilet and wiping herself well. She has become quite obsessive about it and it's distressing her but every time I check she is dry! I noticed today a swollen area on one side of her mons pubis and wondered whether it's connected

As per your query try to find out whether she having burning sensation during urination. it can be a urinary tract infection.continuous rubbing also may hav caused the swelling.she should be given a course of antibiotic if UTI is diagnosed.
