What Makes Breathing Feel Better When Certain Area On Chest Is Pressed?

when I press on a certain area on my chest( left side) I can breath better and my left arm elbow doesnt hurt and I dont feel dizzy. I am diabetic type 2 and a month ago my left elbow bone hurted and I fell and hit my head and feel lightheaded once in awhile.But when I press this one area on my chest, I feel so much better but chest area is tender.I am 50 5 2 and 157lbs and have a history of cancer, and diabetes in family
