What Makes My Ear Plugged And Painful While Eating?

Good afternoon Doctor, My question is related to the following symptoms. My right ear feels plugged and in pain even when I swallow. I feel there is some kind of a thick liquid especially when I lean my head to the right. What can I do about it? Is there any medications I should take. Thank you for your time and advices.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You may be suffering from middle ear effusion. It may be due to allergy or eustachian tube block or infection. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Use tablet lecope-AD for five days. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
