Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
I have studied his case and i think that he must have injured his ligament which is useful for knee patella stability. It can be confirmed with the help of x rays and Mri. If there is ligament damage thence will need plaster for three to four week. if there is severe damage then he might need surgery. If you want then you can share his MRI details with me. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
