What Makes My Throat To Swell And Hurt Suddenly At Night?

In the morning and during the day my throat doesn't hurt but once 4pm rolls around my tonsils start to swell up and hurt a bit, and by this time at night (11pm) its hurting badly, I have had cold symptoms for approx 3 weeks, getting almost completely better at one pint last week and then getting sick again. What dies this sound like? Should I see my doc for an antibiotic?

Hi welcome to health care magic...

Your work up needed with....
-Auscultation
-posterior pharynx examination
-throat swab and send for culture
-CBC

As your problem since long time according to report you might need suitable antibiotic course...

If pharynx swelling more short term five days 0.5 me betamethasone steroid can be given...

Drink more water...

Salt water gargles can be done..

Avoid excess fried and spicy foods..

Take care
