What May Be The Cause For Frequent Urination And Discomfort?

I went to the hospital about a week ago to get treated for a UTI. Although my urine test came back clean, I was prescribed Doxycycline due to the symptoms I described e.g. discomfort, constant need to urinate. It has been about a week now and I am still experiencing said symptoms. Whats wrong with me?

Hello,

For the frequent urination, you need to rule out diabetes mellitus by random blood sugar estimation.

Uro flow study also should be done for further work up. You have not mentioned your gender. If you are a male patient than rule out the prostate problem by ultrasonography. So ultrasonography of pelvis and abdomen also advisable for further work up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
