What Medical Tests Should Be Done For Body Pain On The Right Side?

I injured my knee a while ago and went to an orthopedist for treatment. Since then ive noticed an increase in digestive/eliminatory discomfort and irregularity, spreading pain in areas that could have only been injured from repetitive stress although that feels unlikely. Most of the pain is on the right side of my body. I also occasionally experience blurred vision and headaches. I m trying to get some tests to see if this could be caused by an allergy or parasites I picked up while traveling but I feel frustrated and confused since I m unsure what type of doctor to go to and my symptoms seem to just worsen. Do you have reccomendations on different tests I could get for diagnosis or what type of doctor to see?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The symptoms
-injured knee
-Digestive problems
-Right side body weakness

can be caused by a single problem or many other problems. Irritable bowel syndrome with osteoarthritis with cervical or lumbar spondylosis with disc compression with unilateral weakness.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

For knee you have to take rest,use physical therapy, use knee cap.

For digestive problems avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking. Take tablet Pantoprazole. Please get endoscopy for this.

Right side weakness need MRI brain and spine to know the central or peripheral causes of weakness. depending upon that you may get treatment.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
