What Medication Can I Take For Recurrent Hives With Red Itchy Rashes At Various Parts Of The Body?

Hi I am having a seeming allergic reaction or hives. No throat swelling or difficulty breathing. Just red, extremely itchy rash moving from inner thigh and waistband area to arm pits, collarbone then subsiding somewhat at initial sites but flaring up on hamstrings. I have taken 25 mg of Diphendramine HCl but do not have anymore. Can I take 180 mg of fexofenadine HCl? If so, how soon and how often?

Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi,

Please consider to apply Caladryl lotion locally on the rash. In the meantime, please have a physical consultation to confirm the diagnosis and then mange it further.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bakaraju Aruna Shravanthi, Diabetologist
