What Medication Can Be Given For Severe Migraines Due To Hormones?

My daughter has sever migraines due to hormones. She is on hormone therapy but still suffers from migraines. She has been to Dr. And see a chiropractor for many years. Nothing has helped. Last year she got one of her tragus pierced and for some relief. Recently she got the other done and is going through the healing process. Anyways my question is...where can I find documentation for her employer to see the benifits of this piercing. They are trying to make her take them out. She had it when she was hired in October.

There is an article on this matter in "frontiers in neurology" journal, published on 2017 Nov 27. The title is: "Daith Piercing in a Case of Chronic Migraine: A Possible Vagal Modulation" I believe this is the only scientific literature for now.
I hope this solves your problem.
