What Medication Is Suggested For Cough?

Hi i'm hemanth 24 yrs old. i have a cough from past 2 months n i tried consulting two diff doc.. they prescribed me English medicine and again ayurvedic. but i'm not completely cured by those medicines. now also i get cough twice r thrice a day. can u suggest me what to do further

this type of chronic cough needs some special treatment.firstly do you have a white coated tongue?do you have constipation?also is curd a regular foodstuff in your diet?if so avoid it.whether your cough is dry or with expectoration .kantakari,sukshama triphala.yeshtimadhu,tulsi,adulsa combination will help.according to my opinion once your cough subsides you need a rasayan chikitsa for your respiratory tract.chawanprashavleha and pippli rasayan is the solution to get rid of this type of cough.
