What Medication Is Suggested For Itchy Spots Noticed On Chest And Upper Arms?

Hi, I ve had usually single itchy red spots appear off and on for the last couple months on my chest and upper arms. They are about 1/2 -3/4 in diameter, and feel raised and a little firm. They usually last a few days, and then disappear. Any ideas? Thank you!

Hi.
As per your case history you are having acneform eruption.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a benzoyl peroxide 2.5 %gel once at night on lesions.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like doxycyline and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
