What Medication Is Suggested For Mass Noticed On The Left Ovary?

I have recently had a scan due to late periods and wanting to get pregnant. Of the 3 scans I ve had they can not find a ringht overy and my left ovary has a mass. I have a CA125 marker of 65. However, my Dr. wants to wait another 6-8 weeks, run another scan and another blood test. I m nervous as I was actively trying to get pregnant, and if there is no right ovary all my hopes might rest on my left one. Should I get a second opinion or wait?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Inability to localize right ovary in ultrasound is an indication that there may be only one ovary present.
Mass on the left ovary can be benign or malignant, that has to be assessed by ultrasonographic characteristics of the mass and value of CA-125.
Since value of CA-125 is 65 in your case, it is above the normal range.
In my opinion, you should get a MRI done to look for the features of mass and any spread, if the mass is malignant.
I would suggest you to take another opinion in this case, as you need to get diagnosed as soon as possible.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
