What Medication Is Suggested Light Swelling And Bruise On The Forehead?

My 8;year old daughter had an accident with her dad on a homade built scooter type thing, they like skid out on it, and her dad landed on her, and she said it knocked the breath out of her. She has a big goose egg on her forehead, and a couple of scratches. Ever since the accident, she has had diarrhea, and a head ache. I was wondering if this could be the results of a concussion, or just kind of a coincidence. Thank you very much for your time.

Hello dear,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com. Blunt head injury as in your daughter, which was clinically mild(without impairment of consciousness and with just a few scratches) may result in headache which may last a few days due to the traumatic inflammation. But long lasting headache because of such clinically mild injury is clinically unexplainable.Diarrhea just can't be explained even with a far off relation.Appears coincidental. Please discuss with your physician with detailed history of headache so that he is able to make a diagnosis for headache and thus ensure proper treatment.I hope it helps.
