have had sore throat for 2 weeks. Began with persistent dry cough followed by the development of yellowish sputum coming up. Chest hurt when coughing. Ear ache. Now all symptoms are gone except sore throat and I have these weird white lines on both sides of cheek in mouth. Does this still sound like a virus or do I need an antibiotic?
Thanks for your reply. I have gone through your query. The soreness in the throat can be because of the bacterial infection, nothing to be panic. You can take a course of antibiotics like ciprofloxacin. Do saline gargling. If the soreness does not subside, then consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
