What Medicines Should Be Taken To Manage Ringworm Infection?
I am facing a problem with the ringworm skin infection from 5 months. Doctor prescribed me itraconazole 200 mg tablet, ketoconazole cream, clotrimoxazole soap for 40 days. But there is no result. What are the drugs i should use now please suggest me sir
Nowadays, a ringworm infection is spread very widely. And the dermatophyte is strongly resistant to many antifungal drugs.
So, I prefer to give multiple antifungal tablets in combination. You may take a cap. Itraconazole along with tab. Fluconazole. Antihistaminics like Cetirizine to relieve itching. Apply Sertaconazole cream on affected areas. Do not use soap while bathing. Dettol liquid may be used few drops in the bucket. Improve hygiene and immunity. Keep the area dry. Wear formal cotton cloths. Take treatment a few months more after curing of the disease.
