What Multicolored Pill Medications Were Recommended For Delayed Puberty During The 1960s?

When I was 12 or 13 years old in 1969 (I was 12 yrs old) I had not started to develope or go through puberty. I am a female and I was given a multi color pill to help me start my menstrual cycle and develop breast. Do you have any idea what it could have been? I would ask my mother but she passed away back in 1985 from cancer.

Hi,

It might be hormonal pills like progesterone. Nowdays newer progestins are used and are more effective.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
