What Needs To Be Done In A Case Of A Failed Abortion?
my wife took a mifegest kit to terminate her pregnancy, and during that time she had very light bleeding for few days, After one month we waited for her regular period and hers didnt come. We did a pregnancy test and look to be still positive. In that case what shall we do, we are planning to take one more mifegest kit to terminate the pregnancy.
Hello dear Understand your concern According to your history you have incomplete abortion. It should be confirmed by USG scan. So please consult the gynecologist. Mifegest should be taken under observation of gynecologist after expert opinion. Do not take another mifegest as it cause more complication and chance of failure as the pregnancy is advanced. Incomplete abortion should be treated by misoprostol or surgical process like suction evacuation or D &C. Better to go for surgical process as it completely cure without more bleeding. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
