OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
Firstly, she should see a gynecologist for a clinical confirmation and later get a trans-vaginal sonogram to locate the gestation sac and the age of the pregnancy. If you do not wish to retain this pregnancy, she can undergo a medical abortion until 9 weeks of pregnancy under medical supervision. The entire process takes 2-3 days. A follow up visit and a repeat sonogram after two weeks should be done to confirm the completion of the process. Please use a regular form of contraception later on until you are ready for a pregnancy. Repeated abortions are harmful. Take care.
