What Precautions Need To Be Taken Post Treatment For Convulsions?
DEAR SIR, My daughter was suffering from convulsion at the age of 6 months to 1 year .Initially she was treated with Valporin syrup and it was changed to tegritol later at 3.5 ml twice daily ,this medicine is being given to her after CT SCAN and EEG.Two years gone she is ok not a single convulsion she faced till now.What to do next Icould not able to understand plse help me.......

If the convulsions are controlled and 2 years passed after last convulsion, then you can withdraw the drug tapering over a period of 6 months.
