What Precautions Should Be Taken After A Gallbladder Surgery?

Hello! Help please :) I am overseas on a working holiday at the moment and a week ago I had to have gallbladder surgery. I have booked a flight home as I was told I could not lift anything for a month and my job here is a hotel cleaner. I am now wondering what my limitations are and if I can still do my job? Thank you

Hello,

When have you undergone gallbladder surgery?
Have they removed gallbladder?

Avoid fried foods, high-fat foods, foods with strong odors and gas-causing foods. You should also stick to small and frequent meals. Avoid French fries and potato chips, high-fat meats, high-fat dairy, such as cheese, ice-cream and whole milk, pizza, ghee/butter, creamy soups and sauces, meat gravies, oils such as coconut and palm oil, chicken skin, spicy foods. Eat whole-grain bread, nuts, legumes, cauliflower and cabbage. Avoid alcohol intake and avoid smoking.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
