What Precautions Should Be Taken While Suffering From Hepatitis B?

I was diagnosed of hep b on Jan 5th 2016. Did some follow up test.. LFT was normal. My consultant told me to Wait for 6months. Waited but still tested positive meaning it had progressed to chronic hep b. I proceeded for viral load which was below 100. I was not placed on drugs although I took liv 52 for one month and stopped. Since then I have been doing my LFT test and they have been normal. The last LFT test I did was on February this year and normal. I also did liver abdominal scan and it was OK. I stopped taking alcohol after I was diagnosed of hep b although sometimes maybe once a month I could take a glass of red wine. Just that I started taking livolin Forte 2days ago and started noticing yellowish coloration of my urine. Is this normal? I also did hep b panel test on November 2017 and HBeAb was positive while HBeAg was negative, HBsAG was positive, HBc was positive...... I was told I am just a carrier Pls doc, I need your expertise on this and also things I should and shouldn t do Thank you sir as I wait your response

Hi,

You said HBC was positive but was it hbcIgG or hbcIgM? You should avoid alcohol, oily spicy food, unhygienic food and unhygienic water. You should go for following blood tests if yellowing of urine, CBC and LFT.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
