What Procedure Is Followed For Tightening Of The Womb During Pregnancy?

Hello,am 17weeks pregnant and having a brownish watery discharge,went to c my doctor today and she says its licking from my womb,dat I has a little opening,she says she might have to tighten my womb,wats d procedure n ow bad is my situation?tanx in advance

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion there might be cervical incompetence where in the cervix is not competent to hold up the pregnancy and the cervix opening is loose.(Which is tight usually).This can be corrected by applying a stich around the cervix.Dont worry this is commonly seen in.routine practice and many cases will have normal outcome.The stich is removed at term or prior if labour pains start.Take good rest.And avoid physical strain.
