Hi,

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms are quite normal after this type of surgery. They are related to the inflammation of the soft tissues and the sternum, which has been cut of and then put back together during surgery. I would recommend just taking painkillers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen. You will recover soon from this situation. But for the moment you should just be patient. There is nothing to be concerned of!

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
