Hi, I have suffered before one month a heavy strike of shortness in breathing and after consulting my doctor and taking my xrays he diagnosed my case by having acute bronchitis and he prescribed for me antibiotic for 10 days and I became good. But after two weeks I felt again with same symptoms and I just went back to the doctor and gave me another antibiotic for one weak. Now I have been done with my second course of antibiotic for ten days and still feeling with little heavy breathe and cramp in my neck and headache in the back of my head with little dizziness . My doctor regarded that to recovery from my disease. But still am not comfortable with that short hearths and pain in neck and back of head. Anyone can help me . Regards and thx in advance.
Do your CBC count during fever. If neutrophilia then it suggest bacterial infection.
If lymphocytosis then suggest viral and if eosinophilia then allergic bronchitis could be cause.
If breathing problem severe then nebulization with levosalbutamol and budesonide can be taken at that time.
Steam inhalation useful.
Garlic, onion , ginger are some good herbal product for soothing respiratory tract.
If still your condition increasing this type then repeat x ray done to see for secondary development of pneumonia consolidation or interstitial lung disease.
Wish you good health.
Take care.
