What Should I Do About Excess Smegma And Painful Partial Retraction Due To Phimosis?

Hi, recently my penis has started producing more smegma than usual and i kind of have phimosis like i cant pull back my foreskin when erect, it pulls back just a cm or so and not fully. And it pains if i try to do it more. It has been 5 days . Please suggest something

Hi,

Phimosis can cause an increased accumulation of smegma below prepuce. Local hygiene, cleaning of the area with warm cotton swabs, may reduce your problem. However, if the problem persists then medical treatment with local hydrocortisone cream application and prepuce retraction exercises may help. In more tough cases, surgical intervention by partial or complete circumcision may be indicated.
