What Should I Do About Persistent High Blood Pressure And Anxiety?
hello my own blood pressure spiked up to 195 / 121 when I took it before I went to bed it was 171 / 106 it went down to 150 over 85 and then it went back up to 171 / 112 I do suffer from high blood pressure and anxiety what should I do
These blood pressure values are too high. I recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure values in the next days, twice daily and take note of the values. If your blood pressure values are above normal ranges most of the time, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests in order to exclude secondary causes underlying high blood pressure values. Starting therapy may be needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
