What Should I Do About Slight Burning Sensation After Wiping The Vagina With A Clorox Towel?
Hi my 83 year old mother just told me that she wiped her vagina with a towel that had Clorox on it, two days ago. She also just told me that she feels a slight burning sensation. She said it was a little better after her bath. What should I do. I know she was giving a medication a few months ago called Metronidazole. Will that help this situation?
If it clears away with a bath, there is no need to give an antibiotic for the same. Local infection needs to be checked before starting any local / oral medication.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Grace, General & Family Physician
