What Should I Do About Tingling Sensations And Small Black Lines On My Foreskin?
Hi doctor I have genital wart. Once I treated them n they went away bt I've been having these tingling sensations since. I also notice these small black lines on my foreskin and burnt like tiny scars. I've opted to use tea tree oil bt I'm afraid for I've read these negative feedbacks from others who have used it... Please help
The lines on foreskin are indicative of penile melanosis and need no treatment. Tingling sensations is indicative of nerve damage. Herpes causes nerve damage. Get clinically examined by a GP, get test done to detect / rule out herpes. Get treated if there is any active infection.
Get Nerve conduction velocity tests, and other tests done to detect nerve damage that is causing you symptoms. You will be treated with medicines and analgesics. In the meantime, take food rich in vitamin B6, B12, folic acid and you can take supplements NervUp OD, once daily for 10days.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
