Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Should I Do For The Pain In My Right Shin Bone?
I play third baseman for a softball league. A softball it me right on the shinbone, that day it got pretty swollen but I kept playing. It has been I week and it is not swollen but it hurts alot. When I sit for some time then stand up and try to walk that is when it hurts the most but after walking for a while the pain will not be as bad.
What I sense with the history is this is direct impact injury and so good the game is of softball that it didn't do many injuries. It is inflammation of the fascia and that will get better with time. There is nothing much worry about this.
You can try hot water fermentation for pain relief and improve vascularization so the healing is faster
Rest assured you can play the game in future.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
