hello Dr....i am kuldeep, my height 5'8" feet and weight just 50 kg that means underweight....would you please suggest me protein powder like protinex or something else.....i feel so embarrass. please.......should i take any supplement like protinex or avoid it to make improve my body muscles and body weight. Hello kuldeep to increase your weight you have to take more of carbohydrates and healthy fat .consume small meals 5 times a day include variety of cereals like chapathi , breads rice ,oats in your meals .include lot of dairy products like milk ,buttermilk,curds, cheese in your days meal.if your nonvegetarian go for egg , chicken without skin, fish, lean meat of lamb if your vegetarian consume beans like soyabean ,whole greengram,blackeyed beans and all pulses.it will cover your protein requirement no need to take protein supplements.Have fresh vegetables and fruits in the form of milk shakes.consume healthy oils like olive oil,canola oil,groundnutoil,soyabean oil.saturated fats like ghee, butter, cream increases your weight but also increases your cholesterol.so consume these things in limit.
