What Should Be Done After A Finger Prick Injury?

I poked my finger very lightly with a piece of grout that had blood all over and I had nitrile gloves on it barely broke the skin. How worried should I be that I may contract a disease? and what should I do from here? I squeezed the finger and let blood flow out from it and then rinsed in running water

Hi,

As of now, wash the hand thoroughly with soap and water.

Get a tetanus shot done.

Watch for redness and sign of infection and in that case, you might require antibiotics.
