my 10 yr old daughter just fell off her bike and hit her head on the pavement - she wasn t wearing a helmet and said that she hit it pretty hard on the back of her head. There doesn t appear to be blood or swelling? Should I take her to urgent care?

Seizures 3. Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose 4. Unconsciousness 5. Altered sensorium or behaviour. If none of them are present, I don't think you should worry about his trivial head injury. For pain you can give oral Paracetamol in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly.
