What Should Be Done After Swallowing Plastic Accidentally?
I drank a vegetable mix that my mom made, but later we realized that she had accidentally placed an entire plastic bag inside the mixer. I fear that in drinking the mix, we may have swallowed pieces of that bag. I myself remember swallowing two pieces of what I thought was hard vegetable. One of the pieces briefly lodged in my throat before I swallowed it. Now I realize that it was a piece of a plastic bag I swallowed. We may have swallowed tiny pieces of that bag as a result. What should we do?

Hello, Thanks for your query. Please don't worry about the after effects of consuming plastic because body digestion mechanism is so powerful and it know what to do with those debris. There are very few cases where this went wrong, but limited to vomiting or food poisoning. Anyway to confirm about your doubts, you might visit a general physician if there is any negative symptoms like purging, colic, vomiting etc. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
