What Should Be Done After Toddler Eats Dips From Trash Can?

My 15 month saw my brothers dip in a little trash can and put some in her mouth. I rinsed out her mouth and gave her juice. She has thrown up twice. Do I need to take her to the emergency room. She is breathing fine and does not seem to have a fever and is sleeping

Hello. I just read through your question. This is a very common occurrence in this age range. As long as she remains well hydrated there is no need to be concerned. If she continues to vomit and start to become dehydrated, I recommend consulting with your doctor. Otherwise, you can allow her to heal on her own.
