What Should Be Done For A Person With Depression Who Has Taken Extra Sleeping Pills?

Hi Due to some family problem my mother suffered from depression , may be she got some sleeping pills, last night shes unconscious and don't talk properly. what you suggest she is sleeping now & if we are trying to wake her, she said i am tired and want to sleep for some more time. please help

It depends on how much sleeping pills has she consumed. In case if you cannot predict them correctly then it would be wise to take your mother to a physician and keep her under observation until she regains consciousness. Taking extra sleeping pills can create problem with the respiratory centers and this has to be taken care of.
