What Should Be Done For Fever Along With Dizziness And Fatigue?

I am 62 year female and I have been dealing with a temp of 102 for 3 days last week and sleeping 12 hour nights. I found out I was dehydrated and was given 2 bags of fluids which helped - but now this week my temp is back at 100 and I feel so week and light headed- what do you suggest to get me back on track? Thanks, Ronda

Hi,

The febrile condition can cause dehydration and during fever, care needs to be taken for water intake else it develops the dehydration.

The underlying cause of fever need to be found out as soon as it is possible and it has to be treated accordingly, to avoid the further dehydration and weakness and overhydration if more water intake or iv fluid given.

It can be a viral infection in this case no specific medicine is needed but care needs to be taken for fever only it is a self-limiting disease, persistence condition demands the medical attention.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
